U16s Dominant Over Youghal

With both sides missing key players today(8th March) due to injury it was a hard game to predict. Crosshaven proved the stronger team on the day winning the game 6-0. This was
their 1st win of the season so great excietment. goal scorers for Crosshaven were Jenna O'Shea 2, Savanna Dunlea 2, Cara Cremin and Gillian Crowley 1 a piece. Best for youghal were Biane Roche, Molly schofield and Rachel Galvin.

U11's suffer heartbreak in the Cup

The U11's were 3-1 up this morning with only 7 minutes remaining against near neighbours Carrigaline in the cup only to squander the lead before bowing out on sudden death penalties. Injuries played a major part in the game with Crosshaven losing Jack Kent early in the 1st half and then they lost Richard Thompson to a rash tackle late in the game. Josh Hogan gave Crosser an early lead only to see his goal cancelled out midway through the half. Brian Murphy restored Crosshaven's advantage just before half time and when Tadgh Shannahan scored an excellent break away goal early in the second half Crosshaven looked home and dry. In fairness to Carrigaline they plugged away and levelled the match in the final minutes with a scrappy goal that Crosshaven should have cleared. Extra time failed to seperate the sides as did the first 5 peno's. Sudden death saw Carrigaline progress but Crosshaven can be proud of their performance. Best for Crosshaven - Adam Kent, Richard Thompson, Brian O'Connor & Oisin Conway.

U12s Unlucky in Local Derby

Crosshaven were at home on Saturday 6th March against Carrigaline in the u12 Girls 1st division. It was a very entertaining game as
both sides were very evenly matched. Carrigaline won 1-0 with Emma Walsh getting the goal in the 1st half. Crosshaven fought hard
to get the equliser but were unlucky not to do so. Grace bateman in the Carrigaline Goal saved them on a couple of occasions.
Belen Delouis also had a great game for Carrig. Anna Rearden and Katie Connolly were both in fantastic form for Crosshaven in defence
and Shauna Mckenna and Aoibhinn Kidney were also superb on the day.
